Description
The Excalibur® 7018-1 MR® is a low-hydrogen, cellulose-covered mild steel welding electrode that meets AWS toughness requirements at -50°F. It has extremely high bendability and is moisture pick-up resistant. The arc action is clear and smooth, allowing for clean, spatter-free welding. This electrode also meets API 751 chemical composition recommendations. The Excalibur® 7018-1 MR® is suitable for a variety of applications, such as power generation, chemical process structures, pressure vessels, pressure piping, and structural welding. It can be used in all positions except vertical down and does not require shielding gas.
